Seven die in small plane crash in Quebec

June 23, 2010, Quebec City, Que. - A small plane has crashed into a residential backyard in Quebec City, killing all seven people aboard.

Police spokesman Francois Bouchard said Wednesday that no survivors have been found.

The
plane was heading for Sept-Iles, Quebec, about 370 miles (600
kilometers) northeast of Quebec City, when it crashed about a mile (2
kilometers) from the airport, landing 300 feet (100 meters) from a
house. No one on the ground was injured.

Officials are not releasing the victim's identities until relatives are notified.

Aviation
specialist Yvan-Miville Deschesnes says the pilot of the twin engine
Beechcraft Air plane called the control tower shortly before 6 a.m. to
report an engine problem.

The plane is operated by Aeropro, a company that runs business and recreational charters.

The Transportation Safety Board is investigating.
