Shimco accepted as member of CARIC

Shimco, an award-winning, world-wide leader in the manufacture of precision parts and gap-management solutions was recently accepted as a member of the Consortium for Aerospace Research and Innovation in Canada (CARIC). The first CARIC Aero-Connect funded project in Ontario was recently awarded to Shimco.

Peter Voss, president and CEO of Shimco said: “Acceptance as a CARIC member is a prestigious honour. Their mission in research parallels the vision of Shimco to drive technology and innovation through developing and testing the latest advanced manufacturing technologies. It is a privilege to be the first recipient of their Aero-Connect program in Ontario. CARIC has already proven to be an invaluable source for finding the right research partners for our projects and for identifying and directly facilitating sources of funding. CARIC will definitely be part of our long-term research and technology support and funding strategies.”
