Skyservice Business Aviation founder, Russ Payson, back at the helm

May 28, 2008, Montreal – Following a 10-year focus on Skyservice Airlines, Russ Payson, the founder of the Skyservice group of companies, has returned to Skyservice Business Aviation Inc. as President and CEO.

May 28, 2008, Montreal – Following a 10-year focus on Skyservice Airlines, Russ Payson, the founder of the Skyservice group of companies, has returned to Skyservice Business Aviation Inc. as President and CEO.

“I am thrilled to be back at the helm,” says Russ Payson. “I’m raring to go and plan to be active in leading our team to continued growth. These are as exciting times as when I started this company back in 1986!”

In conjunction with this new appointment, the Skyservice senior management team has been re-aligned to meet the continuing growth opportunities the company has enjoyed over the past few years. Jean Langevin assumes the role of Senior Vice President, Operations; Luc Massé takes on the role of Senior Vice President, Business Development and Strategy; and Jo-Ann Longworth has recently joined Skyservice Business Aviation as Chief Financial Officer. BC Campbell, Vice President Flight Operations, Pat Melen, Vice President Maintenance and Peter Bromby, Vice President, Managed Aircraft Sales continue in their respective roles.

Russ is the CEO and founder of the Skyservice group of companies. A graduate of Queen's University, he has a degree in Chemical Engineering and a MBA from the Ivey School of Business.  Russ is a licensed pilot, holding an Airline Transport Pilot License and is current on B757 aircraft.
