SkyTrac Offers Enhanced Capabilities to Flight-Follow and Map Aircraft Locations

Dec. 18, 2007, Kelowna, B.C. – SkyTrac
is pleased to announce the availability of the latest release of
SkyWeb, its web-based software product for aircraft flight following
and data viewing.

“With our in-house software engineering group, we
have the ability to continually advance our software products to meet
the current and evolving needs of our customers,” said SkyTrac
President and CEO, Kathleen Wallace. “With access to the internet, our
customers, and in some cases our customers’ customers, can use SkyWeb
to track their aircraft in real-time from wherever they might be.”

“Based on feedback from our users we have enhanced
the performance, functionality and ease-of-use of SkyWeb,” said Malachi
Nordine, SkyTrac’s Director of Service Delivery. “In particular,
real-world use of SkyWeb by customers in the Oil & Gas and Search
& Rescue sectors has helped us identify areas of enhancement that
are now available to all of our customers in this release.”

SkyWeb is an advanced web-based software product
that provides state-of-the-art interactive mapping overlaid with
satellite imagery. SkyWeb allows customers to be self-sufficient in
managing secure access to aircraft data by their employees, their
customers or other third parties. With SkyWeb, users can:

  • View the current aircraft position
  • Activate a “Follow Me” feature that draws attention to newly received position reports
  • View aircraft flight paths
  • View and print position report details
  • Immediately identify aircraft status by the use of color coding
  • Receive remote notification of events by email or mobile phone
  • Differentiate flight time and air time
  • Send and receive text messages to and from the aircraft
  • Create, modify and delete secure accounts to which all or part of a fleet can be assigned
  • Comply to emerging Automatic Flight Following (AFF) requirements with automated data forwarding
