Dec. 21, 2009, Prince George, B.C. – A small B.C. airline is cleaning up after a blaze reduced its Prince George hangar to rubble.

Staff scrambled to move eight parked planes, including an air ambulance, out of the way when the fire broke out Saturday afternoon.

The hangar belongs to Northern Thunderbird Air, a charter company with 70 employees and 11 aircraft.

No one was injured, though the wood structure that dates back to the Second World War era, was completely destroyed.
