Oct. 20, 2010, Wichita, Kan. – Sojourn Aviation, a new, independent global aircraft sales
company has officially launched and will be in attendance at NBAA 2010 in
Atlanta. Sojourn and its global partners provide comprehensive consulting
services, aircraft acquisitions, brokerage, management services and sales of
business aircraft – from turboprops to heavy corporate jets.

Industry veteran Brad Hatt, formerly president of Hawker Beechcraft, is
managing partner. Hatt has teamed with Directional Aviation Capital principal
Kenn Ricci, whose portfolio of aviation companies includes Flight Options,
Nextant Aerospace and Constant Aviation.

“Our team knows business aviation inside and out,” says Hatt. “From fractional to
pre-owned to new aircraft, we have substantial, hands-on experience. Our job is
to apply that expertise to benefit our clients, no matter which side of the
transaction they’re on. We’re certain that buyers and sellers today need what we
have to offer – like never before.”

The Sojourn team’s longstanding connections with independent partners in the
U.S., Latin America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia ensure that clients’
needs are met – before, during and after a transaction – no matter where they
operate. Available third-party services include financing, leasing, charter,
maintenance and crew staffing.

“Let’s face it,” says Hatt. “There’s a lot of exposure – financial and otherwise –
inherent to the processes of acquiring, selling and operating business aircraft. It
makes a lot of sense to enlist the aid of an independent organization whose
resume includes high-level OEM, FBO, MRO and other pertinent experience.
There’s not much out there we haven’t navigated our way through, and we can
take a lot of the uncertainty out of the process. And add a heck of a lot of value.”

In addition to its other offerings, Sojourn Aviation also sells new aircraft. The
company is the exclusive international sales representative (non-U.S.) for the
Nextant 400XT – remanufactured zero-time Beechjets with Collins Pro Line 21
avionics, Williams JF44-3AP power plants and new-aircraft warranties. Sojourn
also sells the all-new Embraer Phenom 300 bundled with management services
provided by Flight Options.
