Owners and operators of light business airplanes (LBAs) will benefit from special programming at the NBAA 62nd Annual Meeting & Convention (NBAA 2009) this October in Orlando, FL.
A series of education sessions ranging from aircraft acquisition to single-pilot safety will be offered. For example, Jeppesen will present on ''Flying GPS and WAAS Approaches, Understanding Charts and Databases,'' describing how to fly GPS approaches, the charts that are used to depict them and the databases on the airplane that contain the approaches. This session’s focus will include WAAS approaches and some of the changes of GPS-authorized substitution by the FAA.
