StandardAero becomes Rolls-Royce MRO centre
Feb. 23, 2010, Houston, Texas - StandardAero, a Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) announced today that it has been granted authorization as an Authorized Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Center (AMROC) for Rolls-Royce Model 250 engines.

StandardAero has been servicing Model 250 engines and accessories for over 40 years. Through six MRO locations, the company provides worldwide support with over 1,050 individual book repairs, 165 Major or Critical repairs over 30 of which are unique to StandardAero.
“AMROC status is recognition from Rolls-Royce that StandardAero has unique
capabilities to support Model 250 customer maintenance and repair requirements around the world,” said StandardAero Vice President Helicopter Programs, Tom
Roche. “With these strong central support resources, customers can feel
confident their engine is in the best hands to maximize their engine lifecycle costs.”
The company’s fully-correlated engine test cells in Winnipeg and Singapore and its accessory test cells in Winnipeg, Singapore and Sydney quantify production data prior to shipment back to customers. In-house Design Approval Organization engineering provides operators with repair development and processes for the highest engine reliability.
