Dec. 27, 2007, Toronto, Ont. – Star Navigation Systems Group Ltd. wishes to announce
that the recent changes in its patent infringement complaint against AMA are not
substantive in nature, and in no way reduce the strength or substance of Star's
claims against AMA.
Star's U.S counsel have responded firmly to all issues raised in AMA's press
release of December 24, 2007. The inventors of the asserted patent have
authorized this litigation, which continues to seek a permanent injunction
against the continuing willful infringement of our patent rights by AMA.
Star will always vigourously assert its intellectual property rights to
the fullest extent of the law. Star firmly expects to succeed in both the
Courts and in the marketplace, and believes that its product and technology
are superior.
