Steve Leidigh takes GM post at Landmark’s

Jan. 22, 2008, Winston-Salem, NC – Steve Leidigh has been named to the position of General Manager at Landmark Aviation’s Lakeland, Florida (LAL) facility.

“We are very fortunate to have Steve and his experience in FBO management at our Lakeland FBO,” said Tom Auten, Regional Vice President, FBO Division.  “Lakeland is growing each year and Steve’s leadership will take us to the next plateau.”

Leidigh has over 30-plus years in the FBO industry with 15 of those years working in FBO management.  He came to Piedmont Hawthorne in 1999 from another major FBO chain and served as GM at the Winston-Salem, North Carolina facility until he was transferred to Ocala, Florida in 2002 where he served until 2006.  After a brief stint out of aviation, Leidigh has now returned to Landmark.

Landmark Aviation, which is based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, is an integrated aircraft services provider for the business aviation industry.  The company offers a full range of fixed base operations, light aircraft repair and maintenance, and aircraft charter, sales and management. Landmark operates an extensive network of 33 FBOs in the U.S. and Canada, the largest of which are Toronto; Dulles, Va.; White Plains, NY; Scottsdale, Ariz., and Los Angeles International Airport.  Landmark is a subsidiary of Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE), a global aerospace manufacturing and services corporation.
