Time to stand up for business aviation

Sept. 25, 2009 – You may have seen the recent press attacks on general aviation (GA) by USA Today and NBC’s Today Show. These swipes at the industry pose a dangerous threat to anyone who uses an airplane for business purposes. If the press is to be believed, we in business aviation are an excessive nuisance.

You and I know differently – we know that business aviation is essential to the nation’s economy and transportation system. Business aviation, supported by GA airports like those maligned by the media and the big airlines, accounts for over a million jobs. We provide a lifeline to communities that often have little or no airline service, and we help companies of all sizes, all across the U.S., be more efficient and productive.
