“HNA Aviation’s selection of our wheels and brakes for its A320neo fleet demonstrates their confidence in our product innovation and customer support. We’re delighted to add HNA Aviation to the growing list of A320 customers currently operating the competitor’s equipment that have chosen us to equip their future A320 aircraft deliveries,” said Cory May, vice president of airline sales, Landing Systems, a business unit of UTC Aerospace Systems. “We are proud to expand our existing relationship with this valued customer.”
UTC Aerospace Systems’ A320neo carbon brakes use proprietary DURACARB® carbon heat sink material. DURACARB® carbon provides exceptional brake performance and a 35 to 40 percent brake life advantage over the competition’s products. The company will provide the wheels and brakes equipment through its Landing Systems facility in Troy, Ohio.
“During our long-term relationship, UTC Aerospace Systems has provided industry-leading products and customer support. We are counting on superior brake life and reduced maintenance costs for the A320neo fleet,” said Howard Wang, executive director, Fleet Development Center, HNA Aviation.
