Vancouver International Airport Authority Issues Private Placement of $200-million in Debentures

Nov. 9, 2007, Richmond, B.C. - Vancouver International Airport Authority  yesterday announced that it has agreed to issue a private placement of $200 million of 5.020% Series E Debentures due Nov. 13, 2015.

Nov. 8, 2007, Richmond, B.C. – Vancouver International Airport Authority announced
yesterday that it has agreed to issue a private placement of
$200 million of 5.020% Series E Debentures due Nov. 13, 2015. The private
placement was led by BMO Capital Markets. The distribution is scheduled to
close on or about November 14, 2007.
       
The Airport Authority will use a portion of the proceeds of such
placement to repay its Floating Rate Notes, Series C Debentures due
November 14, 2007 and will use the balance of the proceeds for general
corporate purposes and to fund its ongoing capital program.
