Vector Aerospace Africa named overhaul facility for PT6A-140
July 28, 2014, Johannesburg, S.A. - Vector Aerospace has announced that Vector Aerospace Africa (Pty) Ltd engine repair and overhaul facility in Lanseria, South Africa, has been appointed a Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF) for the Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) PT6A-140 aircraft engine.

Vector Aerospace Africa (Pty) Ltd at Lanseria International Airport near Johannesburg is a P&WC Distributor and Designated Overhaul Facility (DDOF) for other PT6A engine models. The facility also offers mobile repair team (MRT) support for a range of additional P&WC powerplants.
Vector Aerospace Corporation holds approvals from some of the world's leading OEMs including Pratt & Whitney Canada, Rolls-Royce, Turbomeca, General Electric and Honeywell.
