Toronto, Ont. – Vector Aerospace Corp. ( www.vectoraerospace.com ) has announced the creation of a new centralized sales and marketing group as part of its strategy for
“Setting the Standard of Customer Service,” and its plan of strategic growth for further expansion into the global fixed and rotary-wing markets.

John MacDougall moves from his role as President of Vector Helicopter Services-North America to lead the team as the new Senior Vice-President, Sales & Marketing.  MacDougall’s 20-plus years
of executive leadership experience in the areas of sales and operations spans both fixed and rotary-wing segments of the aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) industry; making him the ideal candidate for the position.

Paul Cockell, formerly Chief Operating Officer for Vector Helicopter Services-North America has been appointed President of the division.
“In the ongoing development of the Vector brand, our main objective is to enhance the levels of quality and customer-satisfaction associated with our services.  Particularly in today’s economic climate,
our customers tell us they need fast access to quality services, and delivery they can rely on… each and every time” says MacDougall.

The alignment of Vector’s divisional sales and marketing teams into the new organization brings together a wealth of resources, knowledge and skills that are essential to achieving the company’s
long-term vision. MacDougall explains that the diverse range of repair, overhaul and test capabilities (for airframes, dynamic components and engines) offered by Vector is unparalleled in the industry.

Balkiz Sarihan                Vice President – Strategic Marketing & Development
Gary Leskiw                Vice President – Contracts

MacDougall emphasizes the sales team will further enhance Vector’s ability and global reach to provide industry-leading services customers have come to expect, and that Vector continues to service all traditional product lines including: Rolls-Royce, Pratt & Whitney Canada, General Electric and Turbomeca engines, as well as Bell, Sikorsky, Eurocopter, AgustaWestland and Boeing dynamic components, structures and avionics.

As one of the largest independent MRO service providers in the world with more than 2,500 employees, Vector offers an extensive range of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)-approved services from locations across the globe. The company has multiple state-of-the-art repair and overhaul operations in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Africa serving a global customer base consisting of private and commercial operators, government agencies, defense departments and OEMs.
