Dec. 22, 2008, Thunder Bay, Ont. – The Region of Waterloo International Airport Authority (YKF) has
selected iFIDS.com for the provision of flight information displays (FIDS).

The iFIDS.com solution was selected for its affordability, ease of use, and functionality.
The web-based hosted service option will provide Waterloo airport with tier-one software at a fraction
of the price of all other FIDS solutions. Beyond affordability, the iFIDS.com system allows the Region
of Waterloo International Airport Authority to generate revenue through display advertising unlike its
previous system.

The hosted service removes YKF from any maintenance obligations. So long as power and Internet
connectivity are in place, iFIDS.com remotely manages the rest.

The iFIDS.com solution will provide an Electronic Data Interface (EDI) for Northwest Airlines and
Westjet, eliminating the need for daily input from airport or airline staff.

“We’re pleased to partner with iFIDS.com to provide real-time flight information for customers of the
Region of Waterloo International Airport”, commented Jeff Schelling, Manager of Airport Development.

“Passenger traffic at YKF has increased significantly and we’re looking forward to being able to fully
utilize the functionality of iFIDS.com within the terminal building and on the airport website – www.
waterlooairport.ca”.

iFIDS.com’s solution has been developed to be as user-friendly and simple to use as possible, which
is the ideal solution for small and medium sized airports like YKF.
iFIDS.com, founded in 2000, is responsible for the development of the world’s first hosted Internetbased
flight information management system and provides information management and display solutions
to airports and airlines. Go to www.iFIDS.com for more details.

The new system will provide travelers with up-to-date arrival and departure information within the terminal, on the YKF website and through email/text message updates.
