Webster finalists ready to compete
The finalists for this year's Webster Memorial Trophy have been announced.

July 5, 2011, St. Frederic, Que. – The finalists for this year's Webster Memorial Trophy have been announced.
Competing at Grondair in St Frédéric, Que. this coming August for the title of Top Amateur Pilot in Canada:

Central Ontario: | Oliver Darroch | Spectrum Airways |
Eastern Ontario: | Joshua Shea | Ottawa Flying Club |

The 2011 Webster Memorial Trophy regional phase saw 105 applications received and processed – an achievement that must be shared with all the participating flight training units who encouraged their customers to enter.
Next year is the 80th anniversary of the existence of the Webster Trophy which resides permanently at the Canada Aviation & Space Museum in Ottawa. Rockcliffe Flying Club has been chosen as the host school for the event and preparations for a major celebration are already in place.
