West Wind Aviation eyes takeover of Transwest Air
Northern Saskatchewan’s aviation industry could undergo a major change this summer if West Wind Aviation follows through on a proposal made this week to buy its Prince Albert-based competitor, Transwest Air.

“At this point it’s a letter of intent. We’re taking a look at Transwest as an acquisition,” said Dennis Baranieski, vice president of business development and customer relations for the Saskatoon-based West Wind.
Both companies signed the letter this week; West Wind expects a decision by June 30. Baranieski said a potential price has been discussed, but declined to say what it was. | READ MORE
