Wichita considers issuing bonds for Bombardier Learjet

Bombardier Learjet might receive up to $1.28 million in industrial revenue bonds through the city of Wichita to expand and update its aircraft manufacturing plant at Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport.

The Wichita City Council will consider issuing the bonds during its meeting Tuesday, according to city documents.

This set of bonds would go toward financing Learjet’s capital investments for the first half of 2015, which included expanded manufacturing facilities, a ground power unit, airborne data acquisition system, airborne data display system and a mobile telemetry trailer, among other things. | READ MORE
