Ayotte named new president/CEO of Mecachrome Canada

Dec. 4, 2013, Amboise, France - Mecachrome has announced the nomination of Pierre Ayotte as president and CEO of Mecachrome Canada. This nomination is effective as of October 15, 2013.

Ayotte has been the vice-president and general manager of Mecachrome Canada since the end of 2009.

Ayotte is a mechanical engineering graduate as well as a test flight engineer with more than 30 years experience in the aeronautic sector. He has great knowledge of the industry. His experience includes many realisations from both the supplier and the customer perspective. His international experience and his widespread network of contacts are also important and valued elements. Furthermore, he possesses a vast experience extending from engineering management to business and operational development. From 2002 through 2008, he was responsible for the re- launch and rapid growth of a GE facility in Mirabel, Que.

Within the scope of his new functions, Ayotte will pursue the strategic, commercial and operational development of Mecachrome Canada.

"This nomination, in my opinion, is an important recognition of confidence in me, but especially in the employees of Mecachrome Canada who understood the importance in maintaining a high standard of growth over the last four years. Mecachrome Canada is well positioned to continue building on its current business base and to push forward with its future development," Ayotte said.
