Nov. 16, 2009, Dubai, UAE – Bombardier Aerospace has announced its enhanced customer support for business aircraft operators in the Middle East with the expansion of its Mobile Response Team (MRT) into the region.

Officially launched at EBACE, Geneva, and made-up of six EASA-licensed technical expert operating under Bombardier maintenance approval, Bombardier’s MRT can now respond to Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations across the Middle East and has already supported customers in Qatar and Jordan.

In addition to expanding its geographical reach, the MRT has also added capability for the Learjet 60 aircraft to its existing line maintenance support for Global and Challenger business aircraft. Capability for other Learjet aircraft models is expected to follow next year.

“Since the MRT’s launch in May, we have seen very positive interest from customers, which has led us to expand our capabilities,” said Andy Nureddin, vice-president, Customer Services and Support, Bombardier Business Aircraft.

“Extending our services in the Middle East will further enhance our response rate and minimize downtime for our growing international customer base,” added Mr. Nureddin.

The MRT service in the Middle East will complement Bombardier’s established service network in the region, which includes a Bombardier parts depot and an Authorized Service Facility operated by Execujet.
