CAE signs SIM deals worth $95 million

Jan. 31, 2013, Montreal - CAE announced the sale Thursday of seven full-flight simulators and other devices and services in contracts worth more than $95 million at list prices.

The Montreal-based company says it has now sold 30 full-flight simulators so far since April, when its financial year began.

The latest contracts also include a number of other training devices and simulator update services.

The company sold 37 units in the 2012 financial last year and is expected to come in slightly below that in the current fiscal year ending March 31.

CAE said Thursday that two Airbus A320 FFSs and a Boeing 737 FFS have been sold to Shanghai Eastern Flight Training Centre; an A320 to the Zhuhai Flight Training Centre, and a Boeing 737 FFS, an Airbus A320 FFS and a Boeing 787 FFS to other customers it did not name.
