Four dead in Quebec seaplane crash near Tadoussac

Four people have died and two are unaccounted for after a seaplane crash east of Tadoussac, Que., on Sunday afternoon.

The Beaver seaplane went down north of Bergeronnes in a remote wooded area not accessible by road after taking off from Bouchette Lake. Five passengers and one pilot, whose names have not yet been released, were on board.

The Canadian Forces Base in Halifax dispatched a Cormorant helicopter and sent in people by parachute. Quebec’s provincial police service followed later on ATVs, by helicopter and on foot. | READ MORE
