This delivery fulfills the latest of many orders received by L-3 MAS since 2011 supporting the CSeries aircraft program.

In addition to the support kits, L-3 MAS is providing engineering services, as well as the design and manufacture of complex structural parts and equipment. This equipment includes emergency doors, ballast reservoirs and supports that will be used throughout the flight test and certification programs for the new Bombardier aircraft.

“It is with great pride that we delivered our structural support kit in support of the Bombardier CSeries test program,” said Jacques Comtois, vice president and general manager of L-3 MAS. “This kit includes over 60 components that were welded by our business partner, the BMTC, a centre of excellence specializing in manufacturing tubes. We have devoted a lot of effort in recent years to securing our position in the aerostructures market, and we are happy to once again provide components to a strategic client and to be part of such a great program. Our relationship with Bombardier continues to grow, and we look to the future with great enthusiasm.”
