Presagis names Jean-Michel Brière new vice president
Feb. 7, 2012, Montreal - Presagis today announced the appointment of Jean-Michel Brière as vice-president of sales, marketing, and client services.
Brière’s responsibilities will include management of global sales for the company, in addition to overseeing worldwide marketing, alliances, and the Presagis customer experience.
With growing demand for Presagis off-the-shelf embedded graphics, modeling, and simulation solutions, Brière will leverage his extensive experience in strategic sales and customer management to retain and grow existing business, identify new opportunities based on market trends and customer strategies, and refine and build a scalable sales and marketing team for aggressive growth, increased awareness in new markets, and delivery of ongoing customer value.

Brière joins Presagis from 20-20 Technologies, where he held the position of vice president of marketing and partnership development. He brings to Presagis more than 20 years working in the high technology field where he held various leadership positions in sales, marketing, strategic planning, and general management. His global business experience working and developing markets in Europe, Asia, and North America with 20-20 and other firms, including Kontron and Siemens, ensures continued growth and support of these markets for Presagis.

Brière also has a strong background in defense, which was acquired as a naval officer in the French Navy. He holds an MBA from France and an engineering degree from the French Naval Academy.
