The contract includes products on AAR customer fleets covering the Airbus A319, A320, A330, Boeing 737 and 767, as well as Bombardier CRJ platforms.

Under the agreement, Rockwell Collins, a subcontractor to AAR, will implement the work at a fixed price-per-flight-hour rate.

In addition to providing AAR with 24/7 repair, as well as consistent and predictable maintenance costs, the latest fixed-price-repair service agreement will also reduce administrative processing and assures turnaround times.

AAR Aviation Supply Chain group vice-president John Holmes said: "The relationship also helps us add even more value to our customers through competitive pricing, innovative solutions and world class technical support, including engineering, reliability and service improvements."

Rockwell Collins Service Solutions vice-president and general manager Thierry Tosi added: "Together we provide a one-stop-shop for service, critical avionics proficiency and customized pricing solutions that offer certainty for the future."

Rockwell Collins has a network of more than 80 locations worldwide, providing MRO of avionics equipment for over 6,000 commercial, business, corporate and military operations.

The company's additional logistics capabilities comprise onboard services, service parts, training and simulator systems and services, technical information services and technical services.
