Standard Aero names Mike Turner communications manager

May 27, 2008, Winnipeg – Standard Aero has appointed Mike Turner as Manager, Communications based in Tempe, AZ.
Turner will be responsible for developing and managing Standard Aero’s internal communication programs and policies, and he’ll assume responsibility for the company’s media relations portfolio.
Prior to joining Standard Aero, Turner managed marketing and communications strategy and tactics at Elliott Aviation; Sullivan Higdon Sink, a strategic marketing and advertising agency in Wichita; and most recently Hawker Beechcraft Corporation.
“We are fortunate to have someone with Mike’s extensive experience take on this critical communications role,” said Standard Aero SVP Marketing and Corporate Communication Andrew Farrant.
Turner holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and a bachelors in Aviation Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
