VistaJet selects Jet Aviation to launch U.S. fleet
Sept. 9, 2013, New York, N.Y. - VistaJet will launch its U.S. fleet of Bombardier business jets next March to be operated and managed by Jet Aviation Flight Services.

The London-based business aviation company said Friday that its U.S. fleet will start with three long-range Global aircraft and grow to 12, valued at US$600 million.
VistaJet chairman Thomas Flohr said the alliance with Jet Aviation is key to growing its business in the world's largest corporate aircraft market.
VistaJet will arrange flights that will be operated in the United States by Jet Aviation, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics.
The first VistaJet aircraft will be based in Teterboro, N.J., while additional planes may be located at Jet Aviation's other U.S. locations depending on demand and seasonal traffic.
VistaJet provides business jets for travels in Europe, Russia, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and, soon, China. The company says its fleet of 35 Bombardier Global and Challenger aircraft is the youngest in the industry, averaging less than two years.
In 2012, VistaJet placed the biggest order in Bombardier's history for up to 142 Global aircraft, worth up to US$7.8 billion if the 86 options are converted to firm orders.
It followed up in June with an order for up to 40 new Challenger 350s that would be worth US$1.035 billion at current list prices, although customers traditionally receive large discounts.
