From December 18, 2010, until April 30, 2011, guests will be able to fly non-stop between Regina and Phoenix once weekly on Saturdays. The aircraft will leave Regina at 6 a.m. and arrive in Phoenix at 8:02 a.m. (local times). The return flight leaves Phoenix at 9:35 a.m. and arrives in Regina at 1:33 p.m.

"For a quick winter getaway, more and more guests in Western Canada are choosing Phoenix because of its proximity and affordability," said Hugh Dunleavy, WestJet Executive Vice-President, Strategy and Planning. "We are also very pleased to be adding an unprecedented 10th non-stop service out of Regina. We want to thank the people of southern Saskatchewan for their ongoing support of WestJet."

With the addition of this new service to Phoenix, WestJet now flies non-stop from Regina to more destinations than any other airline, including Las Vegas, Cancun, Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas.

"The Regina Airport Authority (RAA) is very pleased with WestJet's announcement of once weekly non-stop service from Regina to Phoenix during the upcoming winter travel season," said Jim Hunter, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Regina Airport Authority. "This new service is a clear demonstration of the ongoing co-operation between the RAA and WestJet in their efforts to provide the widest possible variety of service to the people of Regina and southern Saskatchewan."
