With a theme of "Ukiuqtaqtumi Hivuniptingnun – One Arctic One Future", Inuvik will be welcoming Inuit delegates, youth, elders, cultural performers, artists and others from Chukotka (Russia), Greenland, Alaska and Canada to celebrate the unity of the Inuit and map out the future direction of the Inuit Circumpolar Council over the next four years.

"This is a great opportunity for Canadian North to support this major historic event by providing exceptional flight schedules and special pricing that easily and efficiently connects delegates and attendees to Inuvik this summer," stated Steve Hankirk, president. "We are really looking forward to all of the celebrations."

"Having Canadian North help us get all the delegates from around the Circumpolar World here safe and sound is no small task. We are pleased with the partnership and look forward to hosting the General Assembly in the Western Arctic," said Nellie Cournoyea, IRC Chair and CEO.

"We welcome Canadian North as one of our major sponsors. This will mean a maximum number of delegates and participants will have the opportunity to travel to Inuvik," remarked Duane Smith, ICC Canada president.
