CFPA and NAV CANADA reach tentative agreement

Nov. 28, 2011, Ottawa - NAV CANADA today announced that a tentative agreement has been reached with the Canadian Federal Pilots Association (CFPA) which represents approximately 34 pilots who perform Aeronautical Information Services, Flight Inspection and ANS service design.

The tentative agreement is now subject to the union ratification process. NAV CANADA will not be commenting on the details until the agreement is ratified.

Marking 15 years as Canada's private sector civil air navigation services provider, with operations from coast to coast to coast, NAV CANADA provides air traffic control, flight information, weather briefings, aeronautical information services, airport advisory services and electronic aids to navigation.
