The Bronze Award presented under Airbus’ Supply Chain and Quality Improvement Program (SQIP) reflects Donaldson’s “significant industrial performance improvement in 2012,” its robust Industrial Process Control Assessment (IPCA) efforts and the commitment at its highest levels to Airbus’ 2013 SQIP objectives. Airbus established SQIP as a proactive, collaborative joint approach with its suppliers to build a high-performing, self-managed supply base capable of helping the aircraft manufacturer meet future challenges.

Donaldson Aerospace & Defense provides numerous products for the full range of Airbus aircraft, from the long-serving Single Aisle and Long Range families to the newest A380 and the A350 XWB product line, which is scheduled to enter airline service next year. These products include, among others, avionics cooling systems, air pressurization subsystems for hydraulic systems and high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters for cabin air systems.

“We are honored that Airbus has recognized our hard work in strengthening quality and on-time deliveries through Lean and supply-chain efforts,” said Pierre Habran, Director Aerospace & Defense at Donaldson Europe. “This award reflects the real commitment of everyone at our Paris-based site – from top managers through to individual employees.”

Donaldson will be displaying its products during the 50th Paris Air Show June 17-23, 2013 at the Le Bourget Exhibition Center. The company’s exhibit is at Booth D92 in Hall 2B.
