Eclipse Aviation announces Eclipse 500® price change

May 31, 2008, Albuquerque, NM – Price of Eclipse 500® now $2,150,000

WHAT: Today at its E-rrival customer event in Albuquerque, NM, Eclipse
Aviation, manufacturer of the world’s first very light jet (VLJ),
announced that the price of the Eclipse 500 is transitioning to
$2,150,000.

WHY:Eclipse’s cost-driven pricing model requires Eclipse to re-examine
aircraft pricing if actual costs change significantly from projections.
The new Eclipse 500 price has been set based on a number of factors,
including higher manufacturing costs and a slower than anticipated
production ramp rate. These cost changes necessitated a corresponding
shift in aircraft pricing.

WHEN: The new Eclipse 500 price of $2,150,000 is effective immediately. All prices are set in June 2008 economics.

HOW: With this price adjustment, the Eclipse 500 remains the industry’s
lowest-priced and highest-value VLJ. The Eclipse 500 is still priced
below today’s current entry-level jets while delivering fuel burns that
are half that of similar VLJs, the industry’s lowest overall direct
operating costs and total aircraft integration levels unmatched by
comparable aircraft.
