Héroux-Devtek’s Laval Landing Gear Division employees ratify four-year agreement

April 9, 2008, Longeuil, Que. - Héroux-Devtek Inc. today announced that its 140 unionized Landing Gear Division employees at the Laval, Québec facility have voted in favour of a new long-term collective agreement.

April 9, 2008, Longeuil, Que. – Héroux-Devtek Inc., a
leading Canadian manufacturer of aerospace and industrial products, today
announced that its 140 unionized Landing Gear Division employees at the Laval,
Québec facility have voted in favour of a new long-term collective agreement.

"We are delighted that a positive spirit of negotiations prevailed
throughout discussions. This is a win-win situation in the context of
continuous pressure from the high Canadian dollar as it provides both
stability for the business and security for our employees," stated
Gilbert Guérin, Héroux-Devtek's Corporate Director, Human Resources.

Workers voted more than 75% in favour of the four-year contract which
extends through December 31, 2011. Workers involved are affiliated with
(AIMTA) Association internationale des machinistes et des travailleurs et
travailleuses de l'aérospatiale.

The Laval facility manufactures, repairs and overhauls small components
for landing gear systems and hydraulic flight control actuators. It also
houses the company's test facility for aircraft landing gears.
