Standard Aero signs agreement with Gm Aero Support for T56 representation in Europe

April 10, 2008, Winnipeg – Standard Aero has signed a sales and service agreement with G.M. Aero Support Ltd., a United Kingdom-based company with extensive experience in all aspects of gas turbine engine maintenance, repair and overhaul.  G.M. Aero Support Ltd. will represent Standard Aero in Europe and is charged with boosting customer service, sales and technical support for the C-130 and P-3 propulsion systems, including the Rolls-Royce T56 family of engines, 54H60 propellers and quick-engine change units.
 
“This agreement gives Standard Aero a world-class team member to augment our sales and customer service throughout Europe,” said Jim Miller, Director, Marketing and Business Development for Standard Aero. “We recognize that geographical presence is an important part of meeting our European customer requirements and we are committed to filling that need.”
