Heidi Back joins InterVISTAS as manager, marketing communications

heidi.jpgFeb. 10, 2009, Vancouver – InterVISTAS Consulting Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Heidi Back to the newly created role of manager, marketing communications reporting to executive V.P.Paul Ouimet.

With InterVISTAS growing engagement in overseas markets, the company recognised the need for a talent to organize the increasing number of projects and to position the brand.

“Heidi’s international background, profound understanding of our clients and intuitive marketing skills will add great value to our team”, states Paul Ouimet. “We are delighted she has agreed to join us.”
Prior to managing her own marketing consulting company in Canada, Heidi Back was a senior marketing manager at Hamburg Airport, Germany for over 15 years. She was instrumental in developing that airport's route network and retail business, and in enhancing the airport's public image, client and community relations. In Canada, she has been providing marketing services to the Gateway and Corridor Initiative among other clients. She holds a degree in International Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences Worms, Germany and a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from Kingston University, London UK and the PMI Professional Project Management designation. She is fluent in English and German and speaks some French and Spanish.

Heidi Back will be based in InterVISTAS’ head office in Vancouver BC.
