Nolinor providing free cargo flight to northern community

April 28, 2020  By Wings Staff

Nolinor Aviation last week challenged other airlines flying into Northern Canada to provide a free cargo flight to a community. Nolinor plans to operate its own free cargo with a Boeing 737-200 on May 4, 2020, under the flight number NRL123.

Nolinor Aviation has not yet released the destination of its flight, but the company notes it has received many requests from local organizations wanting to take advantage of the offer.

“Although we have never received any subsidies from the North, we have been flying there for over 27 years. We wanted to give back in this time of need and challenge other airlines to do the same,” said Marco Prud’Homme, president of Nolinor Aviation. “If everyone follows suit and gives away a flight, we can all make a sizeable difference.

Founded in 1992, Nolinor Aviation specializes in commercial charter flights with one of the largest fleets of Boeing 737-200s in the world.
