Pilot injured in Clarington crash
Aug. 11, 2011, Clarington, Ont. - A pilot has been taken to hospital after a plane crash in Clarington, Ont., about 80 kilometres east of Toronto.

Durham regional police say the plane went down at about 1:10 p.m. in a field.
Police say the pilot suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The pilot was the only person on the plane.
There's no word on what kind of plane was involved.
