Porter Airlines’ October load factor jumps
Nov. 4, 2011, Toronto - Porter Airlines reported its best-ever October load factor at 67.7 per cent, 11.4 points higher than the previous year.

Passenger numbers set a record for any month at over 215,000.
Figures for October show 118.5 million Available Seat Miles (ASMs) and 80.2 million Revenue Passenger Miles (RPMs). ASMs grew 19.9 per cent from 98.8 million and RPMs increased 44 per cent from 55.7 million versus last year.
"This is the first time that Porter has carried 2 million passengers in the trailing 12 months," said Robert Deluce, president and CEO of Porter Airlines. "Our ongoing performance is exceptional and October was also a special month for the company, during which we celebrated our fifth birthday."
Porter also announced a number of service enhancements last month, including added Toronto City-Sudbury frequency, the upcoming addition of Burlington, Vt., and Timmins, Ont., to the network, and a new season of winter flights to Mont Tremblant, Que.
