The new contract covers services for both hot section inspections and overhauls with not to exceed guarantees for all the shop visits. All engines will be serviced at StandardAero’s Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada facility and the company already has inducted its first Air KBZ engine in that facility for repairs. The term of the contract includes MRO services through December, 2018.

“Standard Aero is delighted to build on its engine MRO business in Myanmar and proud to be part of the growth of Air KBZ’s regional network,” said Rob Cords, President of StandardAero Airlines & Fleets. “Myanmar is an emerging market which is quickly becoming an important business center in the Southeast Asian region. The level of cooperation we have achieved with Air KBZ has been excellent and we look forward to doing more business together in the future.”

StandardAero is a Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF) and independent service provider with more than 20 years of reliable turboprop MRO experience on nearly all models of PW100 engines.
