Jan. 14, 2008, Calgary – On Jan. 11, 2008, commented on the decision handed down by the Canadian Transportation
Agency regarding the one-passenger-one-fare application.

The decision mandates that WestJet, Air Canada and Air Canada Jazz
adopt a one-person-one-fare policy for persons with severe disabilities
who travel within Canada by air.

WestJet remains committed to providing excellent service to all
their guests, including guests with disabilities. The scope of this
decision is long and complex. Once WestJet has had an opportunity to
fully review and evaluate the decision, they will comment further.
