The Calgary Airport Authority is looking to photographers of all skillsets to help welcome passengers to the new International Terminal at YYC, through its "Capture Alberta Through Your Lens" photo contest. “The Capture Alberta Through Your Lens photo contest is a great opportunity for photographers to make their own mark on the opening of the new International Terminal. We look forward to seeing photographs that capture the essence of the beauty and spirit of our city and region,” says Garth Atkinson, President & Chief Executive Officer for The Calgary Airport Authority.

Winning photographs will be incorporated into a display in the new International Terminal, while the photographers will have the opportunity to tour the facility before it opens to the public, and take home a $500 cash prize.

A minimum of five winners will be chosen, with both the artists’ name and the winning photographs being displayed in the Terminal for up to three years. The contest opens on June 20, 2016 and ends at 11:59 p.m. on July 18 2016 MST. More details and contest rules can be found on yyc.com.
