Kitchener Aero, founded by the late Barry Aylward, is celebrating 40 years of continuous support to the business, regional and general aviation community. They provide a wide variety of aircraft avionics services, specializing in single and multi-engine aircraft from general aviation to smaller corporate and commercial operators.

“We are pleased to welcome such an established and capable organization as Kitchener Aero to our facility,” said Adam Keller, president of Chartright.

Kitchener Aero’s extensive knowledge base in avionics sales, maintenance, repairs, installation, and manufacturing, make them uniquely qualified to provide fully customizable end-to-end solutions. Kitchener Aero and sister company Mid-Canada Mod Center perform avionics installations and modifications on well over 100 aircraft per year, ranging from light general-aviation types to Challenger, Gulfstream, Dash 8, ATR and Boeing products.

“As the business model of our Kitchener based operation evolves to the next logical step, we have decided that it is time to relocate from our existing Hangar 69 location to one more suited to the aircraft and projects that we will be undertaking in the years to come,” said Bill Arsenault, president of Kitchener Aero. “Moving into the Chartright Air Kitchener facility is a mutually beneficial change that allows us to support them with their needs while at the same time utilizing a great location and hangar for our ongoing and growing requirements at the airport. The footprint and height of this facility will allow us greater access to the sort of projects we have traditionally handled only at our Toronto location or with our mobile installation team. We are looking forward to a long and mutually rewarding relationship.”
