Duquette named president of CAE USA

Aug. 29, 2013, Tampa, Fla. - CAE has named Raymond Duquette president/general manager of CAE USA.

In this position, Duquette will report to general Michael E. Ryan, United States Air Force (Ret) and chairman of the board of CAE USA. Duquette will be responsible for the general management and operation of CAE USA, which is part of CAE's Military business segment and based in Tampa, Florida.

Duquette succeeds John Lenyo, who served as president/general manager of CAE USA for the past 12 years.

"Ray has an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the simulation and training market, as well as CAE's products, services and capabilities," said Gene Colabatistto, group president, military products,training and services, CAE. "As a former U.S. military officer and long-time veteran of the U.S. defense industry, his strong customer relationships and deep understanding of the critically important U.S. defense market will help CAE USA continue to grow."

Prior to being appointed president/general manager of CAE USA, Duquette served as vice president of global business development and Sales for CAE Inc. and previously held the position of Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Business Development for CAE USA. His career in the simulation and training market segment began with Boeing Training Systems and Services, where he held positions of increasing responsibility prior to joining CAE in 2004. Duquette served as an active duty U.S. Marine Corps officer and fighter pilot for ten years and remained active in the Marine Corps Reserves for an additional 19 years, retiring in 2008 at the rank of Colonel.
