"Mike is a proven aerospace industry veteran who has helped companies realize their full potential through his leadership of sales, marketing and customer relationships," said James Raisbeck, CEO of Raisbeck Engineering. "He is the right fit for Raisbeck Engineering today. He will lead our company's continued growth with a focus on our customers, our dealers, our OEMs and our products. I am grateful he has chosen to lead our company and its team through continued growth."

Mike McConnell has been in senior leadership roles for more than 20 years. His last seven years has been with Eclipse Aviation Corporation, where he held multiple executive leadership positions, including Vice President of the Customer Experience, Vice President of Marketing and Sales, and, most recently, President and General Manager of Eclipse Aviation's Customer Division.

Prior to Eclipse, McConnell was the Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning for Mooney Aircraft Corporation, where he was responsible for worldwide marketing, sales and product support activities. Before joining Mooney Aircraft as an employee, he was founder and president of an authorized distributor for Mooney aircraft.

McConnell began his business career at Dell Computer Corporation during its early years. There he contributed to Dell's record growth from $250 million to approximately $30 billion in annual revenues.

"James Raisbeck has been 'making great airplanes better' for over 40 years, since leaving Boeing in 1969. Owners, operators and airplane manufacturers alike have consistently chosen Raisbeck's proprietary systems for their aircraft because of their demonstrated performance and product improvements. They also know of the legendary customer support that Raisbeck Engineering has freely provided throughout its history," said McConnell. "My initial role here is to keep that focus on our customers, make sure our products stay cutting-edge, and grow the many partner relationships with the industry's OEMs that Raisbeck has built through the years."
