Oct. 21, 2009, NBAA, Orlando – Innotech Aviation, has kicked off their 8C inspection program for Bombardier‟s Global Express and Global XRS with one inspection well underway and two more scheduled for this year.

An 8C inspection is due after 10 years following „entry into service‟ and includes an extensive landing gear inspection, structural and system inspections and modifications, and could entail cabin refurbishment based on operator‟s requirements. As Bombardier‟s preferred completion centre and an authorized service facility for the Global series aircraft, Innotech‟s facilities are able to perform the entire inspection under one roof.

“With our newly added paint facility and our extensive engineering capabilities, we are not only able to perform a complete 8C inspection but our customers can also benefit from additional services ranging from entertainment system upgrades, new high-speed broadband internet, cabin air purifying systems, and newly-developed cabin window shades to name a few.” says Rob Brooks, Vice President and General Manager, Innotech Aviation.”

George Nader, Director of Sales and Marketing adds, “with a limited number of companies capable of carrying out these large inspections, we are encouraging all Global operators to book their maintenance slots well in advance in order to ensure shop availability.”
