IWG appoints Brian J. Ulrich as VP, engineering

Jan. 8, 2008, Burnaby, B.C. – International Water-Guard Industries Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian J. Ulrich, M. Eng., P. Eng. to the position of vice-president, engineering.

“As IWG grows, so has the complexity of our engineering organization”, said David Fox,
president and CEO. “with multiple programs underway for 2008, we are pleased to welcome
Brian to lead these initiatives”, he added.

Brian Ulrich joins IWG with an extensive background in project and product management. He
has provided strong business and technical leadership for complex engineering projects in the
power electronics, opto-electro-mechanical print prepress, space robotics and aerospace
industries. Past positions have included product manager with Xantrex Technologies of
Burnaby, B.C., product manager with CreoScitex Inc. of Burnaby, B.C., senior robotics engineer
with Davion Systems, St Bruno, Que. and rocket propulsion design engineer with Bristol
Aerospace Ltd, of Winnipeg, Man.

International Water-Guard is a Canadian aerospace company focusing on aircraft potable water
treatment and full water system solutions. With expertise in all aspects of water treatment, IWG
has the products and knowledge to provide high quality water for passengers and crew, as well
as lightweight, space saving solutions for the aircraft operator.
