Knife on plane belonged to mechanic: Air Canada officials
Air Canada has confirmed that a knife found by passengers on a flight leaving St. John's on Saturday belonged to a mechanic who was repairing a seat on the plane.

In an emailed response Tuesday to CBC questions, the airline said it was “not a security breach.”
The knife, with its blade folded into the handle, was discovered by Glenn Deir and Debbie Youden when they boarded AC1197 to Toronto around 6:30 a.m. Saturday. | READ MORE
