Nov. 12, 2007, Fox Harbour. N.S. – Details are expected today surrounding the
crash of a private jet carrying Tim Hortons co-founder Ron Joyce in
northern Nova Scotia. Officials with the Transportation Safety Board
and the RCMP will answer questions from the media at Fox Harb'r
Resort.

The Bombardier Global 5000 en route from Hamilton ran into
trouble Sunday afternoon while landing in high winds at the golf
resort which Joyce owns.

RCMP said it appeared the jet's wing struck the runway, causing
the aircraft to spin.

Ron Joyce's son, Steven Joyce, said the new jet's landing gear
“folded up.''
