Pilot avoids jail term

March 20, 2008, Winnipeg –
A
pilot who crashed an airplane in a busy Winnipeg intersection in 2002
will not go to jail. Queen's Bench Justice Holly Beard this afternoon
handed Mark Tayfel a conditional sentence of two years less a day, to
be served in the community. The  Winnipeg Free Press reports.
